My Special Considerations

Berry is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Berry is nervous and tense, hard barking and panting. The person who found him stated he is nervous of new people. He is hesitant to approach new people here at the shelter. Once out of the kennel, he allows all handling and walks well on leash. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 05/17.
